Frequently Asked Questions about Your Personal Tea Selection
Isn't tea sold by weight more expensive than a standard pack?
Yes, individually packed tea generally costs more per gram than a standard pack. This is due to the additional work involved in weighing and separately packing the quantities you select.
This option is particularly useful when you're unfamiliar with a tea and would like to try it before choosing a larger pack.
Our tea-by-weight service is therefore not a replacement for standard packs, but an additional way to discover new teas.
Why should I try tea in small quantities?
Taste is personal. What others enjoy may not necessarily become your favourite. Small quantities let you explore different teas at home, compare their aromas and discover which varieties suit your preferences, without having to commit to a full pack straight away.
Is 10 g of tea enough to try it?
For a first impression, generally yes. Depending on the dosage, 10 g of loose-leaf tea provides approximately three to five preparations. Some varieties can also be infused multiple times. For Matcha and herbal teas, the number of servings depends on how much you use per preparation. This gives you an opportunity to get to know a tea before deciding on a larger quantity.
Why do you offer only six tea varieties?
We don't aim to offer as many teas as possible, but rather those that reflect our philosophy: Energy · Balance · Ritual.
We have personally selected and tasted every tea in our range. They accompany different moments of the day, from a clear start in the morning to a mindful pause and a peaceful evening.
Our selection is not final. When we discover other teas that impress us with their flavour and fit our philosophy, we will expand our range.
We don't create new tea varieties. We share the teas we have personally chosen and enjoy drinking ourselves.
Which tea is right for me if I don't know the varieties yet?
Taste is very personal. If you're not yet familiar with our teas, we recommend starting with our three collections.
FOCUS — Energy and clarity
Our Japanese green teas, Matcha and Sencha, contain caffeine and are particularly suited to a mindful start to the day. The main difference lies in how they are prepared: Matcha is made from finely ground tea leaves. The powder is whisked with water and consumed in its entirety, optionally with milk. Sencha, on the other hand, consists of tea leaves that are steeped in water in the traditional way.
BALANCE — A mindful pause during the day
Here you'll find two traditional Chinese Oolong teas: Tie Guan Yin and Da Hong Pao. Both contain caffeine and are suitable for a tea break during the day. They differ mainly in character and flavour profile. Tie Guan Yin is more floral and light, while Da Hong Pao is richer, warmer and more heavily roasted. You can choose according to your personal taste preferences.
CALM — A peaceful evening
Our caffeine-free herbal blends accompany quiet moments and are particularly suitable for the evening. Quiet Bloom combines chamomile, linden blossoms and mint in a gentle floral-herbal blend. Botanical Sunset brings together different herbs with citrus notes and a more layered aromatic character.
If you're still unsure, you can select small quantities from different collections and discover for yourself which teas you enjoy most.
Can I order several tea varieties with a total weight of just 30 g?
Yes. The minimum quantity for your personal tea selection is 30 g in total, not 30 g per variety.
For example, you can choose three different teas at 10 g each or combine the quantities in another way. Quantities are adjusted in 10 g increments.
Will my different tea varieties be packed separately?
Yes. Each tea variety is packed separately to preserve its aromas and prevent them from mixing with those of other varieties.
If you select the same variety more than once, the quantities are combined and packed together. Different tea varieties are never mixed together.
Why am I being offered a standard pack?
At certain quantities, a regular standard pack may offer better value than individual packing. In this case, our tea configurator shows you the corresponding pack as an alternative.
You can compare the prices and decide which option best suits your selection.
Who benefits from the 10% discount when there are only six tea varieties?
The 10% discount is mainly intended for larger orders. If you only select small tasting quantities, you may not reach the CHF 100 threshold.
However, you don't need to order all six varieties. Individually packed teas and regular standard packs can be combined.
When your cart reaches CHF 100 before discounts, the 10% discount is applied in the cart. It replaces the 5% quantity discount rather than being added to it.
You offer different discounts and free shipping. How can these benefits be combined?
For individually packed tea, you receive a 5% quantity discount when you select at least 30 g of the same variety.
If your cart reaches CHF 100 before discounts, a 10% discount is automatically applied to your tea selection instead. The two discounts cannot be combined.
Free shipping is independent of these discounts: orders with a merchandise value of CHF 40 or more after discounts qualify for free shipping within Switzerland. Below this amount, standard shipping costs CHF 3.90.
You can therefore receive a discount on your tea and benefit from free shipping at the same time.
